The time period for submissions of abstracts for oral presentations has now closed.   Late submissions (after January 23) may be considered for poster presentations.

After the submitting author has received acceptance of their abstract, he or she should prepare, and submit, a written paper (6-page maximum) before March 12th, 2018.

The full paper should be sent to:

Papers are invited on any topic in structural or environmental wind engineering.  However, to align with the interests of the invited speakers, we encourage particularly presentations on:

  • Wind loading on renewable energy structures
(e.g. solar panels or wind turbine towers)
  • Wind engineering of tall and super-tall buildings
  • Winds in severe local thunderstorms and their effects on structures

This is a ‘Workshop’ at which interaction and interchange of ideas is encouraged.  While proposed presentations will be judged on their technical competence, presentation of incomplete work, or even tentative concepts, will be welcome.
